Hello, my name is Tanja and I am very happy that you found your way to my Scotland blog.
I have been fascinated with Scotland's great landscape and nice people since my first visit in 2002 and I would love to share my impressions with you.
As I like the English language, I decided to blog bilingually.
All photos on this website are my own.
At the end of each article, you can find the corresponding links which I try to update regularly.

Why "Tweed Delight"?
Strange name for a Scotland travel blog...
"Tweed Delight" is my variation of the expression "sweet delight", describing a delicious sweet treat.
The River Tweed forms part of the border between England and Scotland.
I particularly associate the word "tweed" with the handwoven Scottish Harris Tweed fabric made in the Outer Hebrides that I like very much.
